AL-KHOBAR — Saudi Arabian dermatologist Dr. Saad Al-Sogair was recently named as Dermatologist of the Year by the World Organization of Aesthetic Medicine.
Based in Switzerland, the World Organization of Aesthetic Medicine honors and brings attention to doctors from around the world who have made significant advancements in their field of practice.
Physicians so honored are then noted around the world and others in their field learn from them.
Dr. Al-Sogair was selected for being the sine qua non in promoting the Endopeel procedure in Saudi Arabia. This treatment was invented by Dr. Alain Tenenbaum. It is believed to provide massive results in tightening skin muscles and removing all the blemishes in a short span of time.
The treatment has been in use in Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France, Mexico and other European countries. The results have been quite rewarding.
Prior to Dr. Sogair’s work, the technique was unknown in the Middle Eastern country.
“I am honored by the nomination and the selection,” Dr. Al-Sogair said. “The selection committee had many very fine and well-qualified doctors to choose from. I am certain some of my colleagues will be selected in the future.”
He said he was delighted to receive the recognition. “It comes from my work based on the work of Dr. Tenebaum. He receives as much honor and recognition as I do,” Dr. Al-Sogair said. “I am pleased to bring this revolutionary work to the people in Saudi Arabia.”
Dr. Al-Sogair has the reputation of providing advanced skin care, laser and anti-aging treatments through his clinic Elite Derma Care set up in Al-Khobar.
He said that the recent climate change can be extremely harsh on the skin. But thanks to advances in medicine, the detrimental effects can be stopped, delayed and in some cases reversed.
