The Director of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Lt. Col. / Abdulaziz bin Mansour bin Rashid, explained in a speech to him that one of the most important reasons for holding this conference is to highlight the pioneering role assigned to primary health care as one of the vision initiatives (2030) to achieve integration in the health system, and home health care is considered in a city Prince Sultan Military Medical is a pioneer in this field, providing integrated care for approximately (4000) registered patients, including the provision of nursing services, medical care, respiratory therapy, physical therapy and nutrition, and also includes health education and social service.
For his part, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, Doctor / Turki bin Jazi Al-Harbi, stated that the conference includes a group of distinguished speakers in their medical fields from inside and outside the Kingdom, who will present over three days and through three scientific workshops a number of topics related to evidence-based medicine, and published Scientific research and diabetic foot (methods of prevention and treatment).
