Dr. Tahani Al Qurashi Assistant Dean, Al-Ahsa Applied February 17, 2015 The President of the University, Executive Director of Health Affairs at the Ministry of National Guard Dr. Bandar bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Qanawi approved the appointment of Dr. Tahani Muhammad Al-Qurashi as Assistant Dean at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Female Section, University Branch in Al-Ahsa for the next two years . In addition to her work as a consultant in breast surgery at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Al-Ahsa. Where she will be responsible for assisting the dean and the associate dean for academic and student affairs in the College of Applied Medical Sciences and the Department of Academic Affairs, and includes completing clinical training requirements in the college''''s female section.
Dr. Al-Qurashi graduated from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah with a Bachelor''''s degree in Surgery Medicine in 1998. She joined the training program for the resident doctor in King Abdulaziz Hospital in Al-Ahsa during the years 2000-2005 and obtained the Arab Board in Specialist Surgery and the Saudi Board in General Surgery in 2007. She completed the Clinical Fellowship in Breast Surgery during the period July 2012 - January 2013 at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam. She obtained the European Board in Breast Surgery, Amsterdam, Netherland in 2013.
She also completed the Clinical Fellowship in Breast Cancer Surgery during the period April 2013-March 2014 at the Breast Center of Heidelberg University Hospital, Germany. She was appointed as an assistant consultant in general surgery and breast surgery at King Fahd Hospital, National Guard in Riyadh during the period 2005-2006, and she also worked as an assistant consultant in general surgery and breast surgery in the Department of Surgery at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Al-Ahsa during the years 2010-2012 and 2013 and consultant breast surgery in the surgical department of the hospital King Abdulaziz, Al-Ahsa, from 2014 to the present day.
Considered dr. Al-Qurashi is an accredited assistant professor of surgery at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Ahsa in September 2014. She also has contributions in teaching and academic and administrative activities and an active member of the college’s council in addition to her membership in several other committees at the university and King Abdulaziz Hospital in Al-Ahsa.
