His Royal Highness, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Jizan Region, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, in the celebration hall of Prince Sultan Civilization Center in Jizan.
The speech ceremony held on this occasion was started with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, then the supervisor of the conference’s scientific committee, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Arishi, gave a speech in which he under the patronage of His Highness the Governor of Jizan Region on behalf of the conference’s activities, affirming the participants ’endeavors to achieve the desired goals, present studies and come up with recommendations Necessary to develop the health service in the field of injuries of all kinds and corrective methods for dealing with it and treating the injured.
And Dr. Arishi indicated that the conference, which was carried out with the participation of a number of injury consultants and specialists, contributed to the training of 1500 health practitioners through 38 lectures, seminars and many working papers presented over two days.
After that, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz and the audience watched a visual presentation on the conference and the most important goals that he seeks to achieve, foremost of which is contributing to reducing the percentage of injuries, especially injuries resulting from traffic accidents.
After that, the Director General of Health Affairs in Jizan, Dr. Abdullah Al-Najmi, made a speech in which he stated that the conference aims to provide the participants with the appropriate opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of injuries between participants from health, medical services in the National Guard, the Ministry of Defense and Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and the Saudi Authority for Specializations Medical, Red Crescent and other relevant bodies, which contributes to health development to serve the citizen and the resident and a healthy community by working to avoid injuries through the development, development and training of employees and health practitioners.
Subsequently, His Excellency the Minister of Health delivered a speech in which he expressed his happiness under the patronage of His Highness the Acting Emir of the region on behalf of the conference, stressing the need for optimal participants to benefit from all that is included in the conference and other similar conferences with information that enriches participants ’experiences, especially in the field of injuries that require high skill and training for health practitioners And hone their skills, knowledge and experience.
His Excellency mentioned the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior through the implementation of many security and traffic measures, including contributing to reducing the percentage of injuries in traffic accidents last year by 24%, hoping for help and success from God Almighty for all.
After that, His Highness Prince Jizan opened electronically four emergency, ambulance and support centers in each of Jizan city, Ahad Al-Mashara theater in the southern sector, Baysh district in the northern sector and Al-Eidabi governorate in the eastern sector.
At the end of the ceremony, His Highness, the Governor of Jazan Region, delivered souvenirs to the participants and speakers of the conference, and His Highness received a souvenir gift on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Director of Jazan University, Dr. Mari bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, the Deputy of the Emirate of Jazan Region Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Mudaiemegh, the Secretary of the Jazan Region Naif Bin Manahi Bin Saeedan, Undersecretary of the Emirate of Development Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Qusaibi, and a number of officials.
