Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani bin Ibrahim Mira, the College organized the activities of the annual research and art day “ARAD” on Thursday 22 of Muharram 1434 AH at the college’s headquarters. The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Meera thanked and appreciated the agents of the college, the supervisor of the scientific research unit, the head of the scientific committee, the head of the technical committee, and the arbitration committee for their efforts in the success of the forum’s activities. He also thanked the Gulf Medical Company that sponsored the forum. He also thanked the employees and employees of the college and students and students for their active participation in the success of the forum .
The Dean of the College of Dentistry said: “We were delighted with the research and technical work and photography in this forum, and this is only a stimulus for good production in the forum of male and female students of King Abdulaziz University, and also for the forum of male and female students of higher education, which will be held at Umm Al-Qura University, God willing, and as a kind of encouragement and motivation for more research Science that the college administration aspires to. " He added that whoever wins at the university forum or the forum of higher education from male and female students of the college will be awarded a promotional prize.
The activities started with a review of a number of researches and submitting contributions from male and female students who expressed their talents at the university hospital theater. The research presentation featured a film When You Believe that included interviews with a number of faculty members in the College of Dentistry, in which they talked about their experience during the study and the role they play Also now, if they repeat the same experiment, will they choose the College of Dentistry for their studies?
A book entitled “Longing for Lovers” was also reviewed, after which the attendees moved to the college hall, where the participating artworks, photos and research posters were displayed. 10 researches, 25 photos and 20 paintings were presented to 30 participants from the college.
In conclusion, the winners were honored, where he won first place, "Research entitled" in Oral Health of Life in Children with Autism (Parents Perception) for the team: Dr. Jahan Khan, Dr. Samar Alaqi, Dr. Iman Al-Asheiri, and the second place won by "Research" Entitled "Oral Health Quality in Life in Children with Cerebral Palsy" by the team: Dr. Samia Al-Nouri, Dr. Samar Alaki, Dr. Eman Al-Hashiri.
