Appointment of Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Zahrani as a member of the Academic Council of the University The University Council, in its second session for the current academic year, which was held on Sunday 14/2/1433 under the chairmanship of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama bin Sadiq Tayyeb, issued his decision to appoint His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hassan bin Ali Al Zahrani, a member of the teaching staff in the department Surgery is a member of the scientific council of the university representing the Faculty of Medicine

Professor Hassan Al-Zahrani holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with honors from King Abdulaziz University in 1982 AD and a fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow in 1987 AD, and received a professorship in 1998. Professor Dr. Hassan Al-Zahrani held many administrative and scientific positions, including the Vice-President of the College of Medicine for Clinical Sciences, the Head of the Department of Surgery at the College, the President of the Saudi Scientific Society for Vascular Surgery, the Medical Director and the Chief Physician at Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Vice President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, and he is one of the pioneers of vascular surgery Dr. Hassan Al-Zahrani has many scientific papers published in distinguished international journals and a large number of scientific and research participations in many global, regional and local conferences, and his Excellency supervises Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Al-Amoudi''s diabetic foot chair
