The conference was opened by Dr. Essam Abu Amneh, consultant pediatric surgery at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Buraidah, with a lecture he gave on the development and classification of a hiatal hernia, and then the consultant head of the pediatric surgery department at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Buraidah, Dr. Shambuk, gave his lecture on stability before the operation and when to work?
After that, Dr. Taha Al-Khatrawi, Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Madinah, presented his intervention entitled the current situation of prenatal interventions in congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and then Dr. Ali bin Hassan Al Asiri, consultant pediatric surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital for Research in Riyadh, spoke about the current status of the ECMO compound. Dr. Ahmed Al Salem, consultant pediatric surgeon at Al Siddiq Hospital, Dammam, spoke about (Morgagni Hernia).
After that, a surgery was transferred live to repair a congenital septal hernia laparoscopic (Morgagni Hernia), which was performed by Dr. Taha Khatrawi, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Muhaidli, consultant pediatric surgeon at Prince Sultan Military City in Riyadh, intervened by explaining the complications of minor surgery and the latest medical developments for such cases.
