Dr. Noha Dashash, Assistant Director of Health Affairs for Primary Health Care, yesterday inaugurated the celebration of the International Children''s Day at the Al-Safa Model Health Center, in the presence of Dr. Samira Saadallah, the Supervisor of the North Jeddah Sector, and the Director of the Center Dr. Al-Hanouf Ahmed. A number of orphan children from the El-Wedad Charitable Society for the Care of Orphans and the Special Islamic Education School participated in the opening. The celebration included a number of paragraphs and programs, including a lecture entitled "Embracing" by Rabab Awad from the El-Wedad Charitable Society, and another entitled "Feeding Babies" by Dr. Soha Ghaith from Abbott. For her part, Dr. Dashash said that the slogan of this year''s World Children''s Day is "Contribute to drawing a smile on their lips", noting that "the child is the main pillar in building societies and advancing their future."
