Research Center at KFSH & RC and Prince Sattam University
The Autism Research Center at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh signed a joint cooperation and strategic partnership agreement with the Institute for Research and Consulting Services at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
The General Executive Supervisor of the General Organization of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Dr. Majed Al-Fayyad, signed the agreement with the Director of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Professor Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Hamid.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the research field between the various sectors, and to link academic institutions with centers and hospitals in a way that contributes to raising their capacity and developing the general outcomes of this agreement.
The Director of the Autism Research Center, Dr. Hisham Al-Dhalaan, confirmed that this agreement is the most recent addition to the Center''s partners who represent a number of local and international institutions and universities. With the aim of bringing about a shift in the level of services provided to people with autism spectrum disorder.
He added: The Autism Research Center seeks to activate these partnerships and turn them into outputs that contribute to the localization of intervention programs and the improvement of services provided to people with autism spectrum disorder.
He continued by saying: This cooperation will contribute to the development of work mechanisms to help people with autism spectrum disorder. Through research conducted by the University Institute, which will develop the diagnostic capabilities of cases according to the latest diagnostic methods.
Al-Dhalaan stressed that this agreement is based on the exchange of research and educational experiences, which will help improve the level of services provided from the diagnostic stages to the final treatment stage.
It is reported that the Autism Research Center at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh has many strategic partnerships. Among the most prominent of these are the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Prince Muhammad bin Salman''s Autism and Developmental Disorders Program, and others.
