The oncology conference concluded today at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah under the title "Towards distinguished medical care for patients with cancer". Dr. Basem Al-Bayrouti, a consultant of hematology and bone marrow transplantation at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, explained that the international conference was held in cooperation between the academic affairs of King Faisal Hospital in Jeddah and the Research Center «General Organization» Jeddah branch and the oncology department of the hospital under the title «Comprehensive care for cancer patients», because the patient A person with cancer does not only need medicine, but also needs psychological, social and religious care, which focuses on the importance of food regulation for patients with cancer, as it is a comprehensive and balanced care that includes medicine and prevention.
The conference includes 12 scientific sessions that included more than 40 scientific lectures given by a large group of international cancer consultants from Canada, America, France, Germany and Britain in addition to Arab countries and local competencies from various health sectors in the Kingdom.
