The head of the surgical team participating in the operation, Professor Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Saif, explained after the operation that the patient was given the appropriate dose of radiation for the body structure and type of disease, stressing that this treatment procedure is appropriate for the early stages of the tumor only.

Professor Al-Saif pointed out that this type of treatment has proven successful globally, and this case is the first to be treated using this technique in the Arab world.

In turn, the head of the radiation therapy team participating in the operation, consultant radiotherapy oncologist, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Suhaibani, said that one of the advantages of this technique is to shorten the treatment period from 6 weeks to ten minutes so that radiation therapy is done at the time of the surgery, and its effect is limited on the skin compared to traditional methods of radiotherapy , Indicating that this procedure is characterized by the limited effects of radiation on the lung and heart, compared to the traditional radiotherapy methods.

Dr. Al-Suhaibani asserted that evidence-based medicine supports this type of radiotherapy by using the electron because of the availability of confirmed information about the safety and effectiveness of this method.
