King Fahd Medical City in Al-Raya forms a team to treat obesity patient .. Al-Shammari, the Executive Director General of King Fahd Medical City, Dr. Mahmoud Abdul-Jabbar Al-Yamani, said that the city formed a medical team from several specialties to evaluate the obesity patient, the young Fahd Al-Shammari (18 years), who arrived in Sabah Yesterday, Wednesday, under medical supervision.
He added that the city is full of precise scientific specialties that include consultants qualified to deal with all medical cases, and that its medical service is carried out according to international medical standards.
Al-Yamani pointed out that the establishment of a national center for the treatment of obesity in the Medical City, which was directed by the Minister of Health, will contribute effectively to treating cases of obesity in the Kingdom and will be a main reference to provide the best treatment methods commensurate with the size of these diseases.
For his part, the supervisor of the medical team treating the case of the Shammari patient and the consultant laparoscopic and obesity surgery in King Fahd Medical City, Dr. Ayed Al-Qahtani, explained that the Shammari patient is undergoing a process of evaluating his health condition from a multidisciplinary medical team and in light of the evaluation results, a treatment plan will be developed, and Dr. Al-Qahtani added that Fahad''s health condition is stable
