A Saudi patient underwent an operation in the General Hospital of King Fahd Medical City after she was suffering from severe pain in the back and legs and weakness in the right foot. Medical examinations and magnetic rays were performed. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Jabbar Al Yamani, Consultant Neurosurgery and Spine Surgeon, Head of the Neuroscience Center, performed the surgery that took about two hours, with microscopic microsurgery, during which the slipped cartilages were removed and the nerve channels expanded.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Yamani stated that the patient is now in good health, the pain has completely disappeared, the weakness of the right leg has improved, and she was discharged from the hospital two days after the operation, and she is now practicing her normal life, praise be to God.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Yamani praised the tremendous capabilities that King Fahd Medical City possesses through the presence of modern and accurate devices and the unlimited support he received from the rulers of the matter in this dear country.
