Dr. Al-Tuwairqi, who participated in a famous face transplant operation, is presenting today at an international conference for maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Al-Tuwairqi also participates in the African Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conference in South Africa. He also presents a working paper in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi on surgery of facial deformities related to accidents and problems associated with damage to blood vessels.
It should be noted that Dr. Al-Tuwairqi is one of the Saudi doctors who have registered a global presence in the field of facial and jaw surgery. He has also participated in major operations in the United States of America for the transplantation of the face and jaws. The last operation in which Dr. Al-Tuwairqi participated was the famous face transplant operation that took place at the University of Maryland last March, in which he participated with the medical team, during which the entire face and jaws of a patient were implanted due to congenital anomalies.
