The representative of the Saudi Ophthalmological Society, Dr. Saud Al-Juhani, and the representative of the President of the Red Sea Conference, Dr. Ali Al-Khairy, inaugurated the World Sight Day event 2017 under the slogan Make your eyes valuable on 19-20 October 2017 AD which is implemented by the Saudi Ophthalmology Society in cooperation with the Eye Hospital, King Abdulaziz University Hospital and King Fahd Hospital For the Armed Forces at his residence in Al-Yasmine Mall, which lasted for two consecutive days, as the event included awareness of the importance of periodic visual examination and examination of visitors through the sections devoted to eye examination for men and women and many theatrical paragraphs accompanying the participation of children and visitors, as well as an open meeting with a group of consultants. The opening was attended by Dr. Musa Al-Harbi, Cornea Consultant, Dr. Muhammad Qawqandi, Cornea Consultant, Dr. Al-Baraa Al-Qasimi, Dr. Manal Hadrawi, Head of the Ophthalmology Department at King Fahd Al-Aqsaari Hospital, and Dr. Mashael Al-Otaibi, Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist at King Abdulaziz University
