"World Diabetes Day" Symposium
The Director of Khulais General Hospital, Senior Specialist Turki Abdul-Mughni Al-Sheikh, inaugurated the activities of the “World Diabetes Day” symposium, on Wednesday, 11/3/1438 AH, which is organized by Khulais General Hospital with the participation of the Saudi Diabetes Association. The scientific symposium was moderated by a consultant pediatrics and adult hematology. The head of the pediatrics department at Khulais Hospital is Dr. Fahad Hamid Al-Ghanimi, with the participation of a group of doctors: Professor Abdulrahman Abdul-Mohsen Al-Sheikh, Professor at the College of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and a consultant of internal medicine and endocrinology and diabetes for adults at King Abdulaziz University, and the president of the Saudi Diabetes Association, Dr. Adnan Al-Sheikh, Associate Professor at the College of Medicine at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Consultant Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology at the National Guard Hospital, Dr. Hamid Al Sahafi, Consultant Internal Medicine and Endocrinology for Adults and Head of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at Hira General Hospital, and Dr. Yasser Al-Ghanmi, Consultant Pediatrics and Endocrinology For children and head of pediatrics department at Hira General Hospital
It is worth noting that this scientific symposium is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 7 hours of continuous medical education, and the scientific symposium was accompanied by educational activities on diabetes for the hospital’s reviewers.
