Fourth Conference of Optometry
The activities of the fourth Saudi Optics Conference, to be held at the Rafal Tower in Kempinski, Riyadh, under the auspices of the Saudi Society of Optometry and Vision Sciences, will start from (22-24 Jumad Al-Akhir corresponding to March 21-23). The conference, which is held every two years, aims to discuss and develop the latest developments in the field of clinical optics with the participation of expert speakers from inside and outside the Kingdom. There will be various workshops attached to the conference with posters and scientific publications that visitors can benefit from, and many topics of interest to optometrists will be presented in Their field of work and its development. On the sidelines of the conference, an accompanying exhibition will contain the latest technology in the field of optics and vision sciences, which will be presented by entities and companies specialized in optics.
It should be noted that the conference will target optometrists, including doctors, specialists and technicians of various specialties, in addition to ophthalmologists and health professionals working in the field of eye care and blindness prevention.
The conference discusses the specialties of examination and treatment of corneal diseases and the correction of refractive defects. It also reviews and discusses the latest developments in severe vision impairment and rehabilitation, diagnosis and treatment of vision problems in children and combating visual impairment. More than twenty speakers from different countries and more than thirty scientific papers participate in the conference. It is worth noting that the conference is accredited with 24 hours of instruction from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
