annual celebration of Al-Batinah
Dr. Adnan Ezzat, Executive Director of Medical Affairs at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, honored a number of consultant doctors, residents and fellowships in the Internal Medicine Department in the annual celebration that was held in the postgraduate hall of the hospital. Dr. Fahad Al-Suhaibani, Consultant Internal Medicine and Director of the Resident Doctors Program, said that the event witnessed a special honor for Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Rajhi, Deputy Executive Director for Academic Affairs and Training, for his apparent efforts during his years of work in the Internal Medicine Department, his interest in academic and research aspects, and his excellence in patient care, in addition to honoring the winning doctors. With the best scientific research during the past year, where two papers won by Dr. Hamad Al-Ashqar in the first and third places for the consultant category, while Dr. Ali Al-Zahrani''s research came in second place, and in the research of the trainee doctors category, Dr. Awad Al-Qahtani won the first place, Dr. Saad Al-Ghamdi won the second place, and Dr. Hashem Al-Hashem Third place, Dr. Dania Khafaji ranked fourth, and Dr. Ali Al-Arj ranked fifth. He added that the award for the best fellowship doctor was awarded to Dr. Rafif Farhat and Dr. Awad Al-Qahtani, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabian and Dr. Abdul Ilah Al-Mutairdi won the award for the best resident doctor, who was also honored with the award for the best attendance in academic meetings, and during the ceremony the best nurse was honored. And a special tribute to one of the secretaries for her work in the department.
