Yesterday, Tuesday, 4/16/1437 AH, at the Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, the activities of the awareness raising about leukemia and colon cancer were launched in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, and the Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine for Basic Sciences Dr.: Abdel Moneim Al-Hayani, in the presence of the doctor and the star Moayad Al-Thaqafi, which was set up by second-year medical students in order to raise awareness about the nature of the disease, how to diagnose, the causes of this disease, how to treat it and the side effects of this disease, and it included many lectures, including: an awareness lecture on colon cancer presented by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Ahwal and a lecture on leukemia presented by Dr. Suad Al-Jaouni It is worth mentioning that she presented one of the cases that was suffering from cancer that underwent treatment and recovered. This event comes within the principle of raising awareness and educating the community about cancer diseases.
