of King Saud University research

The Bugshan Research Chair for Stimulating Factors and Bone Building at the College of Dentistry at King Saud University intends to publish nine scientific papers in the American Scientific Journal of Oral and Oral Replacement Surgery (IJPRD), which is one of the famous scientific journals in that field in the world.

The magazine announced that it will single out its first issue, which will be issued in 2016 AD, for the nine researches related to the distinguished technology of 3D imaging using nanotechnology tomography devices that the chair succeeded in developing through the production of "live 3D films" of the location of the operation and the quantities of natural and formed bones in the animal body, as well as calculating Quantities of implanted artificial bone melting.

Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, President of King Saud University, welcomed, in a statement on this occasion, the publication of these scientific research in the journal (IJPRD) known for its scientific accuracy, indicating that the university continues its ambitious efforts in the renaissance of successful scientific research with economic and societal returns.

His Excellency added that the outcome of this chair is an indication of the success of the partnership between King Saud University and the private sector, and it is the partnership that the university has invested in in a way that had a positive impact in accordance with the university''s priorities and set goals.

On his part, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Thaqib Al-Shaalan, explained that the number of researches that have been allocated to the number of the American Scientific Journal from the production of the research of the chair of Engineer Abdullah Bugshan for motivational factors and bone building in a college amounted to nine researches, most of which are for graduate students.

He pointed out that one of the most important of these studies is the research of Dr. Amani Basudan, a graduate student on the use of collagen condoms to repair the bone defect of the skull, under the supervision of Professor Nadir Babi, College of Dentistry, King Saud University, as she is the first researcher to investigate the effectiveness of this condom and know its effect in helping to form The bone was conducted every two weeks, and two scientific papers were accepted in that specialty that emerged from this distinguished research work.

He stated that a study on the use of platelet stimulating agents to repair the bone defect in the skull, and the use of stem cells, will be published after an extensive and high-precision study that resulted in the acceptance of three high scientific research papers presented by Dr. Fatima Al-Ahmari, a graduate student at the College of Dentistry under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Bin Abdullah Al-Hazimi.

And he indicated that a study entitled “New Protein Catalyst Factor” will be published, which is the protein bone stimulating factor and its comparison with traditional methods of bone transplantation and knowledge of the speed of increasing the density of bone formed after implantation, by Dr. Noha Al Omar, postgraduate student supervised by Dr. Montaser Qutb, in the Faculty of Dentistry in addition A study on the use of bone materials of animal source “from horses”, conducted by five members of the university''s faculty under the supervision of Professor Nasser Al-Nuh, a member of the faculty of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, King Saud University, who prepared the new protocol for these studies and resulted in the acceptance of two scientific papers And other research that has been submitted for arbitration by other scientific journals.

It is noteworthy that the Bugshan Chair for Stimulating Factors and Bone Building has printed more than 94 scientific papers, all published in ISI journals, and hosts a distinguished laboratory in the field of nanotechnology and 3D imaging, in addition to Nano-Spect and SEM, TEM, XRD, SkyScan 1172 , 1173 1174, 1176, promised Bruker the first reference laboratory of the manufacturer outside Belgium.
