Najran University, represented by health colleges, continues its awareness campaign of the "Corona" virus, which was launched in the female students'' section two weeks ago.
The Dean of the University''s College of Medicine, Dr. Muhammad Al Ayed, explained that these programs and events come according to the university’s plan prepared by the committee in charge of raising awareness of the virus and ways to prevent it, under the directives of His Excellency Dr. Falah bin Faraj Al-Subaie, the university’s president, and based on the university’s role towards society, and the importance of activating the role Educational and awareness-raising and preparation of preventive plans.
The campaign included a number of courses and workshops for the employees of health colleges, all female colleges at the university, the Princess Noura school complex, female students ’housing, and some public schools and government departments in the region. Under the supervision of the Vice Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Sarah Al Mutlaqah, with the aim of increasing health awareness and introducing ways to prevent the Coronavirus, in addition to organizing awareness exhibitions in all faculties that contained panels identifying the Coronavirus, and visual displays showing the seriousness of infection with this virus and the symptoms it causes to the infected person In addition to the methods of transmission, it also included the distribution of awareness leaflets to female students and information materials on screens inside the university buildings.
