His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, affirmed that the King Faisal Specialist Hospital project embodies one of the forms of care and attention given by the state under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - in providing high-level specialized medical services to citizens . This came during His Highness''s inspection of the progress of the work of the first phase of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Madinah, whose completion rate reached 90%, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Deputy Governor of the region, and accompanied by His Excellency the Executive General Supervisor of the General Organization of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center Dr. Majid bin Ibrahim Al-Fayyad, and the General Director of the Specialist Hospital in Madinah, Dr. Nizar Khalifa. His Highness, the Governor of the Region and His Deputy, reviewed the works of the hospital project, which was established on an area of 200 thousand square meters, with an operational capacity of up to 300 beds, and included preparing the infrastructure and organizational required to complete the implementation of the project with its new specifications to suit the operational needs of the type of specialized services provided in it, in addition to models of Admission rooms and outpatient clinics. For his part, the Executive General Supervisor of the General Organization of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Dr. Majed Al-Fayyad, explained that the hospital will be ready to receive patients and reviewers on the first of next July, and gradually rise to reach the full capacity after the completion of the implementation of the first phase works of the main building, and the arrival of the batch The first of the work teams that includes medical, nursing, technical and administrative personnel. Dr. Al-Fayyad pointed to the regular pace of work and achievement in the project despite the challenges posed by the new Corona pandemic during the past months. Dr. Al-Fayadh expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, for his continuous follow-up and support for the project implementation plans and overcoming all obstacles to ensure speedy completion and operation.
