Ministry of Sports to promote social responsibility programs
The Saudi German Hospital in Dammam held a meeting with a delegation from the branch of the Ministry of Sports in the Eastern Province, and the meeting axes focused on reviewing the means of cooperation between the two parties that aim to support social responsibility programs.
The delegation was received by His Excellency Dr. / Mai Al-Khunaizi - (Executive Director of the Saudi German Hospital in Dammam).
And Mr. Nawaf Al-Awwad - (Operational Director) - and Dr. Aisha Al-Hajjaj - (Deputy Medical Director), and the Ministry of Sports delegation was represented by Mr. Muwaffaq Al-Sunaid - (Deputy Director of the Ministry of Sports Office in the Eastern Region), and Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Bahlal - (Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Sports), Professor / Mustafa Al Slis - (Head of the Youth Activities Department), and Professor / Musa Al-Saleh - (Head of the Sports for All Department).
The meeting witnessed a discussion of devoting the principle of partnership between the two sides to enhance their social responsibility, and spread awareness among all segments of society, through several specific programs to be implemented in Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran and Al-Ahsa.
Emphasis was placed on intensifying social programs in an effort to combat Coronavirus.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Khunaizy announced that the employees of the Ministry''s branch would be granted a special discount within the “My Own” package, while Dr. May Al-Khunaizi was honored by the Ministry of Sports for her active role towards social responsibility.
This visit is considered the first nucleus of cooperation between the Saudi German Hospital in Dammam and the Ministry of Sports represented by the Eastern Province branch, to be followed by greater cooperation between the two parties at the level of the Kingdom.
