For his part, Dr. Abbas Qumqamji, the supervisor of the case, explained that the modern device is a leap in the world of medicine as it works to diagnose unlimited intestinal bleeding and to diagnose diseases of the internal digestive system that cannot be reached with regular endoscopes, and it works on a small capsule twice the size of a regular medicine capsule that is swallowed with A little water and then a special device (similar to an electrocardiogram) is attached to the patient’s waist, where the capsule takes thousands of pictures within 24 hours, after which the images are analyzed by a computer.
And (Qumqumji) added that the capsule comes out automatically with (stool) without complications, as it cannot be used again.
