The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by a delegation from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action headed by the Assistant General Supervisor for Planning and Development, Dr. Aqeel bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi, participated in the 52nd periodic meeting of the Development Assistance Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development - via video call - during the period 9 - 10 November 2020. In the presence of representatives of member states and international organizations.
During the meeting, they discussed financing for the sustainable development goals during the emerging corona pandemic (Covid-19), as well as better building an environmental society (environmentally friendly), and ways to better finance development projects and programs.
Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi valued the cooperation between the Development Aid Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris and the member states of the Organization in everything related to supporting and financing humanitarian and development projects in the various affected countries of the world.
