Distinguished medical competencies join Dr. Alhabib Solomon
Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Mubarak, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Head of Glaucoma and White Water Unit, College of Medicine, King Saud University, and Dr. Juan Miguel Juan, Head of the Department of Otolaryngology, Hospital "Son Llatzer" in the former Spanish city of Palma Demallorca.
Dr. Faisal Al-Mubarak joined as a part-time consultant and he holds a fellowship in subspecialty in glaucoma from Dalhousie University in Canada and the board in ophthalmology and he also obtained a patent entitled (Schlemm canal tube) from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. He also received the Excellence Award for Academic Achievement and the Excellence Award for Presenting Papers and Scientific Research from the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Canada.
He is also a member of the Canadian, Saudi and American Society of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision Sciences, the International Glaucoma Association, and the World Eye Council. He has worked at King Khalid Specialist Hospital and as an assistant professor and consultant ophthalmologist at the College of Medicine, King Saud University and University City, in addition to his work as a lecturer and associate doctor at the Eye and Vision Sciences Center of the Queen Elizabeth II Center for Medical Sciences in Canada.
Dr. Al-Mubarak has long experience during which he has performed more than 1500 successful eye surgeries in addition to his high efficiency in diagnosing and treating all eye conditions such as white water using phaco technology (sound waves) and lasers, in addition to lenses correcting deviation.
And d. Blessed by performing all types of glaucoma and laser surgeries, including light therapy of the ciliary body with microscopy, the use of internal eye canal catheterization techniques (cannoplasty), rapid valve implantation, tubes and non-invasive glaucoma operations.
Dr. Juan is a holder of the Spanish Board in Diagnosis and Treatment of Otolaryngology. He has worked in several Spanish hospitals, including Ccinica Juaneda Hospital, Cilinica Rotger Hospital and University Hospital of Son Dureta.
Dr. Juan holds 60 courses in the diagnosis and treatment of various ENT diseases. He is also a member of the Spanish Association of Otolaryngology (SEORL-PCF) and a member of the European Academic Society of Otolaryngology (EAONO).
Dr. Juan has a long experience of more than 20 years in diagnosing and treating all ENT diseases, such as deafness in adults and children, external and internal ear surgeries, as well as performing advanced dysplasia, laparoscopic, thyroid and parotid surgeries.
Dr. Juan gave many scientific lectures related to otolaryngology, in addition to attending 62 medical conferences specialized in this field in the United States of America. He has also published a book entitled "Acta orl Espanola subacuatic and aerospacial ENT diseases" in which he deals with the issue of ear disorders.
