The activities of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign for the year 1439 AH were concluded at Umm Al-Qura University under the slogan “Your Awareness Now ... Hope and Safety” in the Female Section in Al-Zahir, which was organized by the Public Relations and Media Department under the supervision of the Deanship of University Studies, in cooperation with the University Medical Center represented by the Education Committee Health Ministry, under the supervision of the Assistant Director General of the University Medical Center for Technical Affairs, Dr. Tahani Bint Rashad Al-Jamal, during the period from 9-11 Safar 1439 AH
As the activities of the breast cancer awareness campaign continued by spreading health and cultural awareness within the awareness exhibition in front of the Al-Jawhara hall. Female students were received with awareness panels, as well as providing brochures and brochures on how to examine and the role of healthy nutrition and its importance in treating cancer patients, in addition to the visual presentations on the university screens in broadcasting Health instructions and guidelines for the prevention of breast cancer, in conjunction with the procedures for early detection of breast cancer, where the number of daily detection cases ranged between 100 to 150 cases.
