6 shields of excellence and the highest coverage rate in the flu campaign
Dr. Khalid bin Obaid Bawaked, Assistant Director of Health Affairs for Public Health in Jeddah, left today (Public Health Department) after a decision was issued by the Director of Jeddah Health yesterday assigning him a consultant for primary health care.
Dr. Khaled Bawaked made strenuous efforts during his tenure in Jeddah care in the development of health care centers, during which he achieved (6) shields of excellence for Jeddah care. During Bawaked’s tenure, Jeddah’s care achieved the “Shield of Excellence” for the second year in a row, covering the highest percentage of the target audience. In the influenza campaign at the level of regions and governorates, during which he was honored several times for the outstanding effort by His Excellency the Minister of Health.
It was also achieved during his tenure of the care of Jeddah that the incidence of dengue fever in the revival of Jeddah decreased by 95% after the famous dengue campaign “Jeddah is a bride .. without mosquitoes” accompanied by many awareness and health education programs in mosques and neighborhoods in the governorate.
