A decision was issued by the Scientific Council of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah to promote Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Aref Kansara, Associate Professor and President of the Saudi Society of General Surgery, to the rank of “Professor” in the Department of Surgery.
Professor Kansara expressed his appreciation to the founder''s university director and members of the Scientific Council, stressing that this promotion represents an incentive to exert more dedication and sincere effort in the service of the educational mission.
He explained that the General Surgery Society continues to implement new scientific programs for doctors and awareness programs for the community, indicating that the most important objectives of the Society are focused on developing scientific thought in the field of general surgery and working to develop and revitalize it, in addition to developing the professional performance of members of the Society, and focusing on holding seminars and seminars And courses related to its areas of interest, and conducting scientific studies to develop aspects of applied practice.
