Orthopedic Association elects its board

of directors

The Saudi Orthopedic Society recently elected its board of directors, in addition to the scientific, media and legal committees, and the heads of specialized groups were also elected. Dr. Ibrahim Sunny Asiri, a member of the board of directors and head of the media committee in the association, said that the board of directors of the Saudi Orthopedic Association included a number of highly qualified and specialized experts, including Dr. Hazem Muhammad Al-Khawashki as president of the association and the board of directors, Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Al-Othman as vice president, Dr. Marwan Abdul Al-Hadi Zamzami as Treasurer, Dr. Muhammad Lafi Al-Otaibi, Secretary of the Council, Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Tabash as Member, Dr. Abdel Moneim Seddiqi as Member, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadrawi as Member, and Dr. Ayed Al-Shahrani as Member. The Board of Directors appointed the heads of the working committees, such as the Legal Committee headed by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Habdan, the Scientific Committee headed by Dr. Muhammad Jalal Al-Sayyad, and the Media Committee headed by Dr. Ibrahim Sani Asiri. It also appointed the heads of the specialized groups, which included the specialty of joint replacement headed by Dr. Mujib Manzari, and spine surgery headed by Dr. Muhammad Wassef Al-Sibai, Sports Medicine Surgery headed by Dr. Fadel Abdeen, Orthopedic Reconstruction and Lengthening headed by Dr. Muhammad Jalal Al-Sayyad, Ankle and Foot Surgery headed by Dr. Omar Ali Batuk, and Pediatric Orthopedics headed by Dr. Mazen Al-Hunaishel.
