Corona vaccinations: Immunizations have eliminated diseases

The Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Hospitals, Professor of Public Health, Professor Tawfiq Ahmed Khoja, confirmed that there is a list of diseases that vaccinations have eradicated or helped reduce since ancient centuries, as they contributed to saving humanity and protecting the planet, including congenital rubella syndrome, measles and rubella, inflammation Hepatitis B virus, polio, smallpox, meningitis, whooping cough, tuberculosis, diphtheria.

In response to the skeptics about corona vaccinations and the emergence of the mutant “Omicron”, health expert Khoja said: Since the emergence of vaccinations, skeptics have begun to spread their rumors, in order to prevent members of societies from taking immunizations, but if they reflect on ancient diseases in the past centuries, they will find that vaccinations were the only means of their diet. Of the fierce viruses and their mutants as well, until these viruses became weak, and certainly, God willing, this will be the case of the annoying Corona virus, which means that it is all now in the hands of community members to commit to taking vaccinations, applying physical distance, maintaining hand sterilization and limiting contact with surfaces.

Khoja continued: The interest in immunizations begins from birth until the child becomes able to confront diseases through his immune system, and this accompanies him in old age when contracting some diseases, “God forbid,” and therefore these immunizations or what are usually called “vaccinations” are a fence. Impervious to protect public health, and a means to protect a person from contracting a range of communicable, infectious and other diseases, according to UNICEF Immunization saves the lives of two to three million people every year around the world, as vaccines play a pivotal role in reducing child mortality, and more than one and a half million children die annually in the world from diseases that can be prevented through vaccination.

Professor Khoja stressed that immunization is carefully tested to ensure its safety, and immunization is constantly monitored even after it is produced, and thus it is safe and helps to resist diseases and epidemics. In sum, vaccines are safe and their benefits outweigh the side effects that may result from them. Vaccinations may cause serious side effects.
