2- The three most prominent stations in your life?!

The first stop: Choosing a specialty after the bachelor’s degree in dentistry is one of the most important milestones in the career. Dentistry is a changing science that includes more than 10 sub-specialties. The decision was not easy, to determine the future specialty in which I will spend the rest of my life, I chose the specialty of prosthodontics because it is one of the most important pillars of dentistry, which determines the treatment plan and the drastic and rapid change in the beauty and function of the reviewer''s teeth.

The second stop: moving to the United States of America to obtain the degree of specialization and the consequent obstacles and difficulties, and then adapting to the new environment and coexisting with Western culture It was not easy as the majority imagined, bearing the burdens of work and study as well as the family at the same time, and having a specific goal to obtain the degree of the American Board, which is the highest clinical certificate in the specialty, but thanks to God and his success, I was able to agree between them and obtain a master’s degree and a fellowship and the American Board of Directors.

The third stop: When I decided to establish my own clinic, which keeps pace with the latest global developments in dentistry, dentistry is a changing science that requires periodic renewal of many treatment procedures. The idea has existed since I was a student at the bachelor’s level, and my confidence in it increased when I returned from the United States The American University, with the need for a specialized clinic, that I can apply everything I have learned during my educational career and provide distinguished treatment services to the auditors.

3- What are the closest stations to your heart? And why?

After this long journey of nearly 20 years, I find that reaching my goal and establishing the Professor''s Dental Clinics, which is a shining icon in dentistry, is the closest and most beautiful station to my heart.

4- What are the most prominent personalities that you remember and influenced your career?

There are many personalities who have a positive impact on my life, the most prominent of which is my supervisor during my stay at Rutgers University in New Jersey, Professor Robert Flinton, who was very credited with supporting and guiding me, until I was able to obtain a degree, a master’s degree, and a board in the field of prosthodontics. My life, and to this day he still communicates with me and makes sure that I continue on the path of success and progress.

5- The most prominent obstacles that you faced in each station? And how was it overcome?

There is no doubt that the changing stages of life are punctuated by many difficulties, which require reliance on God and diligent work to overcome them. The most difficult dental boards, as it requires preparing many cases according to specific controls, some of these complex cases require a treatment period that extends from one to two years, after which there is a written test and whoever passes it moves to the next stage, which is almost the most difficult at all. The cases are placed on three separate committees and they review and ask a lot of accurate questions about the case. Most of them are few who pass this test due to its difficulty and the difficulty of preparing for this type of test, but by the grace of God Almighty and his success, I passed this test from the first time and obtained the board certificate and the American Fellowship in Prosthodontics and dental implants.

6- What is a dental prosthesis?

It is a branch of the dental specialty specialized in diagnosing and developing a treatment plan for cosmetic dentistry and replacing missing teeth after extraction to maintain oral functions, comfort, appearance and health of the patient.

7 - Is dentistry the lowest income among other medical specialties?

It is considered among the highest paid professions in the world, and it is one of the professions that requires a high level of education and long years of study and training, and sometimes requires additional years of study. It is considered a stable profession as the society’s need for oral and dental treatment is a permanent and irreplaceable requirement.

8- The large number of dental clinics, what does it indicate?

The rate of dental caries in the Kingdom may reach 95% due to excessive consumption of sweetened drinks and foods and lack of attention to dental hygiene. These diseases require the presence of specialized dental clinics to be able to treat these diseases and limit their spread.

9- How do you see the future of the profession in light of the observed unemployment numbers for dentists?

I still see that there is an urgent need for a qualified Saudi dentist who can provide distinguished treatment services, and perhaps the trend is for the private sector more than government agencies, but this requires providing an appropriate job environment for them, and obligating private clinics with a salary scale and working hours that are close to the government sector, And when this stimulating environment is available for them, you will find creativity from the people of this country, which attests to their excellence in all medical sciences worldwide.
