His thanks and appreciation to Prof. Tawfiq Ahmed Khoja - Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Hospitals, for his valuable participation in managing the ministerial session at the Global Forum for Medical Tourism, which was held under the slogan “Oman, Capital of Arab Medicine” and highlighting important issues and the actual role of international organizations, including the Federation of Arab Hospitals, in moving forward The medical tourism sector and health travel in the Arab world are moving forward, which had a great impact on enriching the forum and the success of its activities.
The Private Hospitals Association, in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health, the Tourism Promotion Authority, the Federation of Arab Hospitals, the International Hospitals Federation and the Global Council for Medical Tourism, had organized the activities of the International Medical Tourism and Health Travel Forum 2022, as the forum witnessed a large attendance of more than 800 people from 52 Arab and foreign countries. They represent various sectors related to medical and hospital tourism, which made it the largest forum specialized in medical tourism and health travel in the Middle East region. A specialized exhibition was also held on the sidelines of the forum, in which a large number of private hospitals, companies and institutions related to the pharmaceutical industry, medical supplies and equipment and tourism marketing participated. Therapeutic, banking and media institutions from inside and outside Jordan.
The forum also witnessed opportunities for cooperation between health institutions in the field of benefiting from the distinctive health services provided by hospitals in the Arab world.
