Because of its serious damage to the health, social, economic and security aspects, and this problem is no longer confined to one type of drug or to a specific country or a specific class of society, but rather includes all types and classes, and many new compounds have appeared that have a clear effect on the nervous system and the brain .
“Khoja” indicated: There are several reasons that expose the individual to the danger of addiction, the most important of which is ignorance of the dangers of drug use, weak religious faith, improper social upbringing, family disintegration, poverty, ignorance and illiteracy,
Parents'' preoccupation with children, lack of supervision and guidance,
Lack of dialogue between family members, babysitting or accompanying bad companions, unemployment and leisure.
Khoja concluded by saying
The most successful methods of preventing drug abuse and psychotropic substances are developing self-control among individuals, cultivating good values, educating young people about the dangers of drug abuse in all aspects, and building a strong, aware individual to be a good citizen, and the best way for that is proper family education that is based on understanding and dialogue between individuals. The family truly strives to build the child’s life skills that make him, when he goes out to society, able to distinguish between correct and deviant behaviors, and able to face peer pressure with his independent personality.
