On the sidelines of the thirty-fourth regular session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, which was held at the League of Arab States during the period from 24-25 Rabi al-Awwal 1431, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Mr. Amr Moussa received in his office on Thursday at noon in a special meeting Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, Director General The Executive Office of the Council of Health Ministers of the Cooperation Council States, in order to discuss ways to activate the activities and programs of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, where the meeting dealt with a number of programs, activities and topics of common interest, including the acceleration of the implementation of the decision of the Arab Summit in its nineteenth regular session held in Riyadh 9-10 First Spring 1428 AH regarding the issue of the Arab project to improve the quality of health facilities, activating the work and tasks of the Arab Health Emergency Committee and what has been done regarding the proposal submitted by the Executive Office of the Council of Health Ministers of the Cooperation Council States regarding the establishment of an Arab Council for Ambulance and Emergency, and to accelerate the activation of the decision of the Council of Arab Health Ministers in its fourth regular session Thirty-one to develop the work of this council and activate the development project during the meetings of the university''s ministerial council, in addition to what has been discussed On the importance of promoting health at the Arab level, the university adopts the establishment of an Arab body concerned with health awareness and education.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States praised the pioneering and active role played by Dr. Khoja and his relentless pursuit of establishing a real partnership to achieve the aspirations and translate the lofty trends of the leaders of Arab countries in making the health of the Arab citizen one of the first concerns and a subject of care and attention from the health service provider.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Khoja presented His Excellency Mr. Amr Moussa with a commemorative shield in appreciation and gratitude from the Council of Health Ministers of the Cooperation Council States and its Executive Office for the pioneering role that His Excellency plays in this regard and in support of joint Arab health cooperation.
