A Saudi-Jordanian-Kuwaiti-Emirati medical team has achieved a new medical milestone in the field of introducing the latest technology in the world to treat a minor intervention for the neck for the first time in Jordan and the Arab region. This achievement was announced during the scientific conference and the medical workshop for treating spinal pain and discus at the University of Science and Technology Hospital in Irbid, northern Jordan.

The medical team, in which the Interventional Pain Therapy Consultant, Head of the Department of Pain Therapy at King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah, Dr. Osama Ahmed Al-Ahdal, and the Consultant in Neurosurgery, Dr. Haitham Al-Aqili, performed a surgery with this modern technology. Dr. Osama Al-Ahdal explained in a press statement that the surgery was performed by making two small incisions with an area not exceeding one centimeter, and then implanting a "keeper of distance" from the back side.
