The General Administration of Medical Services for the Armed Forces, represented by the Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh, organized a medical research symposium (Think and Do) at the conference hall of the Social Center, in the presence of Major General Ghalib bin Ghaleb bin Harib, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Medical Services for the Armed Forces. Muhammad Bukhari, Chair of the Scientific Committee, said in her speech that the symposium''s themes included all areas of scientific research, methods of research ion, method of collecting research information, ion of statistical methods, ethics of scientific research, and how to advance scientific research in the Kingdom.
Dr. Bukhari indicated that there will be a focus on evidence-based medicine and knowledge of how to address international fields and how to deal with the media when publishing research, which enriches the information of the researcher, as we will support the seminar in the future with workshops to train researchers by consultants in scientific research while discussing their research. In detail and exchange of experiences among themselves to help them advance their research work to international levels.
In turn, Colonel Doctor Ali bin Matar Al-Zahrani, Head of Oncology Department and Head of the Organizing Committee said that the minds producing research, studies and innovations are abundant and we need only a little organization, training and support and from this standpoint came the idea of holding this symposium to collect these experiences and benefit from those who have great deal with this The field, spreading and encouraging the culture of research and publishing, as the Scientific Committee made a lot of effort to organize the symposium.
