they outdid themselves ... and spoke the language of "humanity"
Thoraya Obaid: The comprehensive national health plan ... has borne fruit
Noura Al-Mosad: Human life and health is a priority
Jawaher Al-Anzi: The wisdom of vision and the tightening of procedures defeated Corona and the Hajj succeeded
As usual, influential and effective everywhere and at all times .. with confident and consistent steps and a tight professional work, under exceptional circumstances in which Saudi women have competed with time and outperformed themselves while fighting the unknown enemy "Corona" ... She confronted this virus in one line with her colleagues, within a comprehensive health system to fight Epidemics and mass medicine that characterized the Kingdom to become the focus of world attention.
They wagered on success, and they examined it .. and the nation bet on them, so they raised its flag fluttering high .. they are champions of health .. the knights of the homeland .. and these are the results of empowering women during the reign of King Salman bin Abdulaziz .. And these are the Saudi women and these are the knights of health .. the knights of the homeland .. They are proud.
From the very first moment that King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered the treatment of all those on the soil of this country, including a citizen, resident, and violator of the residency system without discrimination or exception .. and the heroines of health work as a beehive side by side with their colleagues in the health sector with the participation of all sectors, to form the first line of defense In the battle against this virus, and standing an impregnable dam without spreading it ... to the working woman, each according to her location.
Shura .. ongoing work
On the nature of business progress at the time of the pandemic and the achievements of working women during it, a member of the Shura Council, Dr. Noura Al-Mosaed, spoke about dealing with the Corona pandemic in general, and her experience of working remotely in the Shura Council in particular, saying:
It is no secret to anyone that the precautionary measures taken by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince had a great role in limiting the spread of Corona virus, and although these measures had negative effects on the economy, human life and preservation is the priority from which this started Measures.
The Shura Council continued its sessions, as do all government sectors, as it is scheduled for it with a high technology that ensures the fulfillment of the basic requirements on which these sessions are based, which are to listen to the members ’interventions and views on the topics of the agenda and vote on recommendations.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the pioneering countries that employed technology comprehensively and with high quality in running services and businesses, over many years before the Corona pandemic, and what happened with Corona is a natural continuation of this approach. Through cooperation with the Artificial Intelligence Center, the Council managed the sessions professionally, preceded by a lot of preparation and coordination with the members and the chairmanship and secretariat of the Council. The same applies to the committees that were able to continue their work and study the reports assigned to them according to the competence of each committee. Saudi women within the council were able to fully play the role related to their membership in the council, whether in its regular sessions or within the committees, just like the male members of the council, because the responsibilities of the Shura members do not differ according to gender.
Confronting epidemics and mass medicine
For her part, a member of the Shura Council, Dr. Jawaher Al-Enezi, affirmed the wisdom of the vision and the tightening of health and preventive measures in the Kingdom, saying: We have a conscious and wise leadership that is able to read the future and face the challenges with ability. Hospitals, Umrah, visiting and prayers in mosques have been suspended temporarily to save lives, activities that increase the chances of infection, such as markets, salons and sports clubs, suspension of studies early and completion of it remotely, and the same is for government and private sectors, and this success in completing studies and working remotely reflects the progress achieved It has the Kingdom and its advanced and superior digital structure, as well as the adaptation of modern technologies and their use in facing the Corona crisis. This is exemplified by the application of “diverging and entrusting us”, which have contributed to saving a lot of transmission and contact with the injured.
And we do not forget that the Kingdom has a long tradition in facing epidemics and managing crowds during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, and this culminated in the success of the exceptional Hajj season of 1441 AH, and the absence of any injury to the pilgrims, and this is an achievement that only Saudi Arabia does, and it will be recorded in history that it defeated Corona in The climax of his battle, and the Hajj season was completed with ease, ease and comfort for the guests of Rahman, with the application of social distancing and health precautions.
Among the success factors embodied on the ground is the wonderful "health system" that the Kingdom possesses, thanks to the leadership that has raised the slogan of "people first" since the start of the pandemic, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz directed to provide free treatment to citizens and residents and even violators of the residency system, despite The high costs of treatment, given that the disease is new and without specific treatment, and recovery from some cases takes long periods, requiring them to stay in the hospital and obtain medical care for long periods of time.
Certainly, we do not forget the support provided by the government to the Ministry of Health, which amounts to more than 15 billion riyals to confront the Corona virus, at a time when the global economy is suffering from a recession due to the closure and the decline in oil prices, so we saw the expansion of examination and the increase of hospital beds and the opening of field hospitals, as well as support for the private sector And the damaged facilities and the support of individuals working in the activity of steering vehicles, and this great support is not surprising to our wise leadership, which has proven to the world that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a factor in building, growth, prosperity and stability for the human being and his health, and in this respect I recall the word of our father, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at the beginning of the Corona crisis, which reflected The Saudi leadership and humanitarian role in the region, when he called for extending a helping hand to developing and less developed countries to support their infrastructure, and to help them fight epidemics and strengthen global preparedness and unified response to face infectious diseases in the future, which is what the Kingdom was keen on in its leadership of the G20, as well as for economic reforms Led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, he has a clear role in overcoming the disturbing effects of that pandemic, as he has read D. Vision 2030 has been launched to build an ambitious country and a prosperous economy that is not held hostage to fluctuations in oil prices.
Front line doctors and nurses
And Dr. Jawaher Al-Enezi added: There is no doubt that Saudi women have a leadership that provided them with opportunities for success, creativity and contribution to the renaissance of the homeland. Empowerment of women is proceeding at a steady pace, and today we see Saudi women shine in all fields, and in the Corona crisis, the building blocks of the homeland were unforgettable efforts, especially those who work in The health field, consisting of female doctors and nurses, stood on the front lines in hospitals and quarantines and in the expanded examination of the quarantined neighborhoods, and among them was the late nurse Nujoud Al-Khaibri, who was honored by giving her name to the most recent medical center in Medina to confront Corona virus, due to her dedication to her work and her death. Because of her infection with the virus, and the regulatory, preventive and precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom, including remote work, helped give women a full opportunity to work and participate, and we had an excellent experience in the Shura Council through remote work, where the government provided us with an integrated technical system It enabled us to perform tasks and complete the work in an easy and easy manner, while providing support and assistance to the members of the Council, as the remote work experience succeeded during the first week of the application. It exceeded expectations, which was positively reflected in holding sessions of the Council, holding meetings of specialized committees, as well as holding meetings with delegates and representatives of government agencies.
Happy numbers ... and promising results
For her part, Dr. Thoraya Obaid, Chair of the Women’s Communication Group 20, one of the G20 communication groups, praised the success factors due to which the Kingdom achieved these positive results in combating Corona virus and prevented its spread in Saudi Arabia, saying: We hear today that the number of infections is the lowest since four Months and this is good news, but this requires follow-up, non-complacency, and the continuation of the necessary preventive measures.
Explaining that the factors that led to the success of dealing with Corona are the holistic view of the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, and the adoption of a comprehensive national health plan with coordination between the ministries and relevant bodies, by securing hospitals, health centers and pharmacies with special needs to deal with the pandemic, so that treatment needs can be met, as well as Home and personal sterilization, in addition to quarantine for a period of 7 or 14 days depending on the situation, and the suspension of flying within the Kingdom, international flying, and then re-travel in stages.
Not to mention feeding the citizen with daily information, about the country''s situation in relation to the number of injuries, recoveries and deaths in the various cities of the Kingdom, which helped in educating the citizen and the need to follow preventive steps. As well as raising citizen awareness about the virus, through media messages, social networking sites, and electronic links to obtain information about the available services.
The preventive measures plan also contributed to ensure the health of the citizen at the entrances to public places, to wear masks, and to approve financial fines for those who do not adhere to the necessity of using the muzzle in public places. The citizen''s awareness and desire to cooperate with the government and its efforts to secure the health of everyone contributed to the fact that there were injuries that occurred as a result of not adhering to spatial distancing, for example during holidays or the like.
Doctor: We are racing against time
For her part, Dr. Hind Abdulhadi Al-Ghamdi, consultant brain radiologist, head of the radiology department at King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah, says: The Corona pandemic attacked us at the beginning of my presidency of the hospital radiology department, and it was my biggest challenge and my determination and determination to continue providing the best service to patients, while taking all measures and precautions to ensure Safety of patients and employees of the department. Thankfully, and thanks to the concerted efforts of everyone, we were able to serve the largest number of patients, and reports were issued for more than 500 exa
