1- Breast cancer

Breast cancer is the division and growth of breast tissue cells without submitting to the body''s natural control systems, and these cells may invade the tissue surrounding the breast, and it can also spread to parts of the body through the blood or lymphatic system if not treated.

Its symptoms are the presence of lumps or tumors in the breast, bleeding secretions from the nipple, or swelling of the glands in the armpits, or the enlargement of the breast.

These signs often appear at a late stage of the disease, and the woman should not wait for her and initiate periodic examination, which is the most common cancer among females, as it represents 30% of all female cancers in Egypt.

2- Cervical cancer

It is the growth of uncontrolled cells in the cervical region, which usually develop and spread slowly, and it is considered the second type of cancer that affects women most common at the global level, according to a report of the World Health Organization issued in 2013.

The highest incidence rate among cancers of the reproductive system (cervix, ovaries and vagina) is 500,000 new cases around the world every year, and the rate of uterine cancer reached 287,000 cases in 2008.

The main factors that increase the chances of infection are smoking, having an immune disease, using birth control pills for a long time (five years or more), and having children 3 times or more.

Also, women between the ages of 40 and 50 are most vulnerable to the disease.

There are two types of tests to detect cervical cancer, the first (Pap smear), preferably from the age of 21 to 65 years, and repeated again after three years, and the second is the papilloma virus test, which begins at the age of 30 years.

3- Ovarian cancer

It is a cancerous disease that forms in the ovaries, the main cause of which is not known yet, but there are factors that increase the likelihood of developing it, such as a family history of the disease and exposure to radiation.

Ovarian cancer has reached 250,000 cases worldwide.

Most of the infections occur in women between the ages of 55-74 years, and the patient does not show any symptoms, and some symptoms may appear such as bleeding from the vagina, pain in the back area and disturbances in the menstrual cycle.

4- Vaginal cancer

It is one of the rare types of malignant tumors, often migrating from surrounding or distant organs. Primary vaginal cancer is rare (primary vaginal cancer is known as cancer originating in the vagina only and does not include the external cervical mouth).

It is the lowest percentage of cancers that affect women.

The period of onset of symptoms is from 6 months to a year before diagnosis, delay in diagnosis is common Because of the rarity of the disease, including vaginal bleeding without pain, vaginal secretions, bladder pain, pain when urinating, bloody urine, and pelvic pain.

It is advised to exercise regularly for at least 4 hours per week, eat fish, soy, rice, fruits and fiber and avoid a high-fat diet and obesity to reduce the risk of cancer.
