There are many names that may pass by a show without leaving a trace of them. Some few impress you with their tact, culture and literature, so they quickly settle into memory. Those in particular are like points of light that infer with them the element of distinction and creativity. The confusion of choice and the difficulty of the experiment. Let us find in our local scene great names with a willingness to overcome obstacles, and here they go without fear towards their specific, inexhaustible success, absolute confidence, confident thought and uninterrupted diligence .. Perhaps, in front of our honorable guest who went through a different experience, this meeting will come to us flying in the atmosphere of his specialization After God helped him and became a consultant in obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, IVF and endoscopic surgery, and by the way, a member of the United Nations and a member of Doctors Without Borders, he looks through this episode of stars from my country, reviewing his scientific journey on one side and revealing his literary and cultural brilliance on the other side. He is the righteous son of Amlaj, Dr. Abdel Aziz Azazi Al-Anzi, whom we were honored to meet with a generous guest, whose human dignity is evident whenever people remember him as he was and is still initiating help and advice. Welcome to Abu Wael via the Amlaj newspaper. Yeh
Dr. Abdulaziz Azazi Al-Anzi
Happy to meet you with Dr. Abdulaziz, and we would like, at the beginning of our meeting, that the reader get to know you through the ID card?
Welcome and gentlemen, readers. I am happy to meet you. Much happiness, I am your brother Abdulaziz Azizi Ali Al-Enezi. I was born and raised in Umluj. Throughout it, I completed my first stages of learning until I joined the university level at the College of Medicine in Abha City and graduated from it in the year 90 CE as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. In Tabuk Military Hospital in 91AD as a resident doctor and then a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology until I became a consultant in obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, IVF and endoscopic surgery, I currently work in the Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah
Doctor, in the face of this daily bustle that we live in, memories are often attached to the wall of the heart, and we often remember the most beautiful of them from time to time. We would like to observe the features of the first formation in Amalj?
The most beautiful conversation is modern memories and for me the first stage of upbringing was distinctive in succession to the distinction of Al-Hawra, our wonderful city with a melancholic and aesthetic character, where the sea, fragments, and heritage .. Our generation was eager for knowledge and deserves of culture, and you can imagine those meetings that we held for discussion and dialogue on topics much earlier than our ages, from The other side appears to be the image of my father, may God have mercy on him, as our daily meeting with which he used to bring us together at the time of the siesta, as he used to hear us the Shafi’i poems, the Asa’iyat, the heritage poems, and his being a mosque imam, a keeper of the Qur’an and an expert in the jurisprudential sciences. And that sweets, which he distributed equally to the children, that unique shop was a beautiful haven for all the people of the neighborhood ..
What is left of the first stages of learning?
The prevailing was our dependence on ourselves as it was rare to find private teachers or the like, we started the elementary stage in the Saudi school and teachers of that period were guaranteed the right to teach and educate that generation and they had all the powers and maybe the matter came to beating and more, personally I will not forget That teacher who surrounded me with special care was Professor Awad Abu Mahmoud, the teacher of religion, who was like a sheikh and educator. He was a master in science and religion..May God reward him with the best reward for us. The middle school was in Nour al-Din Zangi''s middle school and perhaps it was the only middle school at that time. Its location on the mountain was overlooking a camel and revealing the entire beautiful face of the city, the real pleasure was in the daily going from it and boiling it. The truth of that stage was one of the most stages that formed our personalities, perhaps among the colleagues who were with me from the beginning, Rafiq Derby, my nephew, Dr. Fawzi Khader, as well as engineer Nabil Zaree. And Abdullah Al-Hassani, Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Najjar and many others, comrades, please excuse me for forgetting
Was there any prediction ... was accompanying the student Abdulaziz Azazi at that time?
I was persistent since the beginning of being a doctor one day, and perhaps one of the most important people who predicted something of this was Professor Abdullah Atallah Al-Marwani, may God have mercy on him. I remember one day while we were in high school that he said to me: You will become a doctor treating patients in the north and pointed Toward my colleague, Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Najjar, and you were going to treat the children of pharmacists ... God have mercy on him. He was a great person in every sense of the word.
How much influence did those close to you have in your life?
My older brother, Mr. Mahmoud Azazi, was a teacher, and one of his priorities was to hold us accountable for the result. The education, as I mentioned, was automatic, and that Professor Mahmoud, may God preserve him, was an example for us and was ahead of us in everything so we were trying to be like him as it was ashamed to get a result. Or a weak degree. Honestly, it was a support in my life, as well as my brother Abu Mashari, Mr. Salama Azazi, and the rest of my brothers, may God protect them all, had the same stance
How did the undergraduate stage pass?
It is a very important stage as it charts the future before our eyes. As for my studies in the city of Abha in particular, I chose it based on previous knowledge of this city, which we have been visiting every summer since the Hijri nineties. I knew her father well and my dream of studying in her always accompanied me. It is beautiful that I was able to convince a companion. My path was Fawzi Khader and Abdul Hamid Al-Najjar to be with me there .. The total of students applying to the Faculty of Medicine at the time was forty, and only 20 students were supposed to be accepted. Of course, the issue was an internal struggle between students. To pre-medical subjects, which are health sciences subjects
How did things go after that?
After we finished the health sciences subjects..the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology were the same subjects that we used to receive in high school, but developed and in the English language .. After that, the pre-clinical phase of anatomy, physiology, histology, and Dio as a biochemical master’s, all of which is related to humans, and then comes the stage. Clinical (practice through the hospital), I personally completed this important stage in Abha Hospital, then Asir Hospital, and then came the year of excellence, which was special for me, because it included two optional months that I spent in the nineties outside the Kingdom in Kurdistan in the Zakho region, as I was part of the committee of the Relief Commission To help the afflicted there
What about your specialty women and childbirth?
After the internship year, choosing a specialization for me was a difficult choice. I was hesitant to choose a specialization for women and childbirth by virtue of the nature of society, as I was afraid that it would not be acceptable in my society despite the fact that there were many colleagues who preceded me in this specialization, but praise be to God in the end, my will triumphed and it is the motive. What made me go in this specialization, and perhaps one of the difficulties at that time was also that we did not have the Saudi fellowship, there was confusion in the issue of specializations .. Do we take the German, British or Arab fellowship? The programs are not clear, the vision is not clear and we did not have a clear thinking Or clear training or adequate follow-up until God helped me and I joined the Arab and then British fellowship. After that, the Saudi fellowship was made available and approved, and many Saudi doctors joined it.
Regarding the internship year, does it include actual professional practice as a doctor?
Of course we are talking here about a resident doctor who practices during this period and works comprehensively and at the end of the day he has lectures that he attends in addition to conferences, it is an actual work that includes tests at the end of the year, part one and part two, and then a final exam, the success rate in this Our tests, unfortunately, do not exceed 15%, and the reason is a lack of doctors ’ability, given that the Saudi program was in its infancy, now with the presence of the Saudi Commission.
Doctor, are the majors taught in our medical schools sufficient for the purpose?
Certainly, but there are some majors that need to be expanded further.
Perhaps your ways of hearing singular sensitive disciplines in our society?
I do not understand what this word means, the issue of embarrassment has become a little now, and this is the product of people''s awareness. I started my specialty after two years of the first years of work because I was hesitant about this desire in front of a great goal in entering this specialization, but now the patient, husband and relatives are in most cases looking for The competent doctor is above all else, and by the way, the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology is a difficult specialty and the doctor here is on his nerves throughout his life and I think that this case is not comparable to any other specialty, we are dealing with a child and his mother who are supposed to be in good condition because it may happen that a surprise and the scene becomes tragic Includes a sad ending. The specialization of women and childbirth is of difficulty, importance, and nerves that the reality of many other specialties is not present in it .. The doctor in other specialties does not have a catastrophe, for example if you go to the Sharia committee, you will find issues of complications and medical errors 90% of them are women and childbirth, perhaps there will be a difficult birth, there will be Two solutions, either natural or cesarean, end with a tragic final, God forbid
Tell us about diseases that are between two sexes and are caused by one sex from another?
One of the very common diseases we have is polycystic ovaries in women in adolescence and after marriage, and it is one of the problems that lead to delayed childbearing and in which there is an irregularity of the menstrual cycle and accompanied by an increase in weight and hair for women This is one of the most problems we have now
Is heredity a reason for it?
Heredity may have a small income, we have not yet reached a specific answer, but some explanations indicate that it is a genetic problem, but the nature of eating and lifestyle in general may be one of the most important causes.
Is there a solution?
Unfortunately, it does not have a radical solution here, you are as if you are talking about sugar or pressure. Our role is to help find temporary remedies
How do girls avoid this problem?
There are theories confirming that early prevention reduces the chances of diabetes and uterine cancer ... The same applies in cases of polycystic ovaries .. In the pre-marital stage, it is necessary to see the obstetrician and gynecologist to rectify the matter and avoid complications of the problem .. There is an important intervention that mitigates the negative consequences. In the future, certain treatments work to regulate the menstrual cycle and treatments that reduce excessive weight gain as well
