Fertility in men and the occurrence of infertility, as smoking affects the sperm and weakens them, as well as cancer of the mouth and lungs.

Dr. Bawaked refuted the claims of some manufacturers that there are tar-reduced cigarettes with different flavors and thin cigarettes that are less harmful, indicating that all of this is a lie and aims to promote cigarettes and link the smoker to the smoking habit. He stressed that determination and will are the first treatment to quit smoking, then comes the use of nicotine substitutes that help to get rid of it, which are in the form of patches, chewing gum, pills or inhalation. A strong type is the nasal spray that must be directed by the doctor.

Bawaked noted the role of the Ministry of Health through anti-smoking programs and educating the community about its health, social and economic damages.
