He explained that its symptoms are: (a high temperature of more than 38 degrees, chills and sweating, headache, persistent dry cough, tiredness and fatigue, runny nose, sore throat, and muscle pain) Noting that it has complications such as: (pneumonia, bronchitis, and ear infection) Therefore, it is recommended to take influenza vaccinations before the winter season In order to reduce complications in the event of injury, God forbid.
And he indicated that the contraindications to giving the vaccine are for children less than six months old, or those who are allergic to eggs, those who have previously had a severe allergy to a dose of the flu vaccine, and those who suffer from acute illness accompanied by a high temperature.
Prof. Khoja noted that the groups most vulnerable to infection with influenza are health workers, the elderly, people with chronic diseases, children and pregnant women.
Professor Khoja concluded by saying: There is no conflict between the Corona vaccine and the influenza vaccine, both of which contribute to reducing diseases and relieving symptoms, and the influenza vaccination does not nullify the effect of the Corona vaccine, and the two vaccines can be obtained at the same time, and there is no harm in that, awe-inspiring to everyone.
