The activities of the 6th session of the International Family Medicine Conference 2019, under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Dubai Health Authority, began at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the participation of a group of experts, specialists and doctors in the field of health care Family medicine. Over the course of 3 days, the conference will discuss child and adolescent psychiatry, the multiple forms of depression, the close relationship and interconnectedness of primary health care, early detection of depression, diabetes, obesity, neurology, migraines and the latest developments in the early and varied diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.
The conference, which was held under the theme "Innovation and Technology to Improve Healthcare Services for Patients", was opened by Hamid Mohammed Al Qatami, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority. The event is expected to attract more than 3000 participants from the region and the world.
50 speakers and experts will participate in this year, presenting 38 scientific sessions and two specialized workshops, and displaying 50 scientific posters. Participants will be able to benefit from attendance hours by obtaining 20.5 hours of continuing education approved by the Dubai Health Authority.
