Multiple sclerosis, or multiple sclerosis (MS), is a type of infection that affects the white matter in the nervous system. Immunity fights foreign objects in the body that attack the body''s internal white cells.

In this context, the neurologist Robert Bermeil told "clevelandclinic" that this serious immune disease affects the central nervous system, which impedes the communication between the brain and other parts of the body.

Early signs of MS

Bermel mentioned four possible early signs of MS, which should not be ignored

First - vision problems

If the individual suffers from painful visual loss or blurred vision in one eye, and the feeling of pain while moving the eye, continued for more than two days, you should see a doctor.

Secondly - facial paralysis

When one side of the face develops a temporary paralysis or a curvature of the face, and it is called a facial paralysis, you should beware of it.

Third - problems with balance and muscle relaxation

When sleeping in a strange position or sitting in the wrong way for a long time, the individual suffers from numbness or numbness in the hand or foot. If this sensation lasts more than two days, do not neglect to consult a doctor.

Fourth - acute and persistent dizziness

The dizziness caused by MS is distinguished from the usual dizziness that it is usually more severe and lasts for at least two days. It is also accompanied by difficulty walking in the corridor, for example due to an imbalance in the body.

How do you distinguish between symptoms caused by MS or another disease?

Dr. Bermel explained the difference between the symptoms caused by MS or another disease, through the following points:

1- MS symptoms last for more than two days, and their symptoms worsen during hours and days.

2- The timing and symptoms of symptoms help your doctor determine whether or not it is MS or another cause.

3- The symptoms of MS is as severe and not surprising as symptoms of stroke and heart attack.
