The opening of the seventh conference of the Saudi Scientific Society of Neurosurgery. On behalf of His Excellency the University President, the Vice-Rector for Business and Knowledge Creativity Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Hamid Naqadi inaugurated the seventh conference of the Saudi Scientific Society for Neurosurgery in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Mahmoud bin Shaheen Al-Ahwal and the President of the Saudi Society for Neurosurgery Prof. Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Jamjoom, Chairman of the Scientific Committee Organizing the Conference, and Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, College of Medicine, Dr. Saleh Baissi, on Tuesday 21/5/1434 AH, corresponding to 2/4/2013 AD, at the King Faisal Conference Hall at King Abdulaziz University, where 60 scientific papers were presented by a distinguished group of world-leading scientists in the field of neurosurgery from several countries such as: (America, France Germany, Belgium, Portugal, and many distinguished surgeons from some Arab countries (also a distinguished elite of Saudi surgeons from universities and consultants in neurosurgery from various specialized hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the conference over a period of three days. Workshops were also held. On the sidelines of the conference, this was stated by: Chairman of the Scientific Committee and Organizing the Conference and a member of the teaching staff of the College of Medicine and King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Dr. Saleh Ba Issa.
