German study regarding partial heart muscle damage to those recovering from Corona
The first consultant cardiology and catheterization in the National Guard, Dr.Muhammad Belgabeth Al-Barqi, reviewed the results of a German study on the exposure of those recovering from the emerging corona virus to partial damage to the heart muscle.
He explained, during an interview with Al-Akhbariya, that most of those recovering from the emerging corona virus had simple heart infections, similar to the changes that occur to the muscle after infection with influenza, stressing that the results of the German study are not new and have been monitored before in China.
He pointed out that the Chinese discovered that the recovered had some minor clots in the blood vessels, describing that as less harmful than a coronary artery clots.
The German study had recorded heart problems for about 80% of the recovered people who were included in the study during the past few weeks.
