Shaheen as President of the International Society

for Organ Donation and Removal (ISODP)

Dr. Faisal bin Abdul Rahim Shaheen, Director General of the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, obtained the majority of votes to assume the position of presidency of the International Society for Organ Donation and Removal, and that was during the Society’s Board of Directors.

Thus, Dr. Shaheen is the first Arab doctor to hold this position since the foundation of the association. This comes due to Dr. Shaheen''s long and distinguished experience and good reputation in the field of organ transplantation at the local and international levels.
