Ear, Nose and Throat: Lieutenant Colonel Saud bin Saleh Al-Saif, head of the ear, nose and throat department at King Fahd Military Medical Complex in Dhahran, was elected as Secretary-General of the League of Arab Societies in appreciation of the great services he provided to the Saudi Ear, Nose and Throat Society and its employees during its previous session, where he was the vice president and acting head for a period Four years full of many academic activities, during that period the eleventh national symposium was held in cooperation with the King Fahd Military Medical Complex in Dhahran, as well as the twelfth national symposium in Madinah in cooperation with the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Madinah in addition to holding the Fifth International Conference of the Saudi Ear, Nose and Throat Society In cooperation with the King Fahd Military Medical Complex in Dhahran, 2151 professors and international researchers participated in this conference, and more than (60) papers and working papers were discussed.
Dr. Al-Seif also has contributions and scientific research that has been published in international scientific journals.
This was sufficient for what he achieved from the appreciation of colleagues in the specialty at the Arab and international levels, and for him to gain this confidence, as the first Saudi doctor to assume this position as Secretary General of the Arab Association of Ear, Nose and Throat Societies (APFOS).
