The blood donation campaign contributed to the 12th Al-Fadhoul Charitable Society, which was held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays on 3/30/1440/28 AH, in the Society''s Sanabel Hall 3, in cooperation with the Blood Bank in the Maternity and Children Hospital in Al-Ahsa. The campaign contributed to providing (188) units blood The number of blood units provided by the campaign becomes (3500) during 12 campaigns .. The campaign team started receiving donors from early at 4:30 pm for the initial examination to determine the blood group and measure blood pressure, in order to ensure that the donors are absorbed on the second and third day of the campaign The campaign witnessed a demand to donate their blood in order to consolidate noble humanitarian and social goals. This campaign comes within the framework of strengthening the role of the humanitarian association and the people of the governorate towards the local community and in line with the humanitarian role and the society''s responsibility in extending a helping hand to patients and hospitals that need a lot of blood units and in support of the General Directorate of Health in Al-Ahsa in maintaining the provision of blood units to be ready for those who deserve it. In the same context, the medical official of the campaign, Dr. Yassin Al-Rasasi, stated that the donor goes through several steps to ensure his suitability to donate by inquiring about the health status in the donation system of the blood bank, passing through the determination of the blood group, measuring pressure and hemoglobin, then the campaign doctor who diagnoses the final status of the donor In order to prepare the blood bag and send it to the staff designated for blood drawing with 5 beds, and after the drawing process comes the last stage of blood isolation. In their turn, the general secretary of the association and the reporter of the health committee, Mr. Naji Al-Abd Al-Ridha, and Mr. Ahmed Khalifa Al-Wattian, the rapporteur of the public relations and media committees, expressed their thanks to all the success partners, including supportive bodies, social partners and working cadres. Mr. Jamal Al-Younis, the rapporteur of the Planning and Development Committee and the deputy rapporteur of the Society’s Health Committee, stated that the campaign aims to assist the blood banks in hospitals in Al-Ahsa and provide the required blood units, revealing that the campaign has allocated Sanabel Hall 3 to receive donors from the people of the town of Fadhul and neighboring countries. For his part, the President of the Society, Eng. Ahmed Al-Bariya, thanked the contributors, supporters, the work team and the media, who confirmed that they had always had an impact in achieving the desired goal of the campaign.
