A medical team in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Al-Ahsa Governorate was able to treat the intestinal intussusception of a 3-month-old girl through accurate laparoscopy, using a camera and surgical tools.
The operation took four minutes to release the closure from the start of anesthesia to its end, under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Omar Al-Mughannam, Head of the Department of Pediatric and Laparoscopic Surgery, and the medical team consisting of Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Najjar, Dr. Firas Al-Masaid, and Dr. Dhaheir Al-Din.
